Coach Linda Lensch is an Elite-Level High-Performance Pitching Instructor certified by legendary Master Coach Rick Pauly. After many years of teaching pitching, she now exclusively coaches internal rotation mechanics and continues to study with several high-level I/R instructors nationally. She is the owner of Greased Lightning Fastpitch High-Performance Instruction LLC. Linda was inducted into the USA Softball of New Jersey Hall of Fame in 2006 and has held a position on the Hall of Fame Selection Committee for well over a decade. Linda played ASA women’s ball for 27 years, primarily at pitcher, catcher and the corners, and coached ASA Women’s Major and Class A ball at the highest amateur levels for over 25 years. She was a two-time ASA Women’s Major Modified All-American selection and was a national championship runner-up. After winning the 23U National Championship and placing 3rd at the Women’s Class A Nationals in the same 2003 season, she retired from softball to take up competitive paddlesports for several years, where she competed internationally for Team USA Dragon Boat, and captured national titles in outrigger, marathon canoe and dragon boat. Linda returned to softball with NJ Ruthless in 2020 and is currently coaching our 16U-Lensch team. Linda has also been a pitching/assistant coach at Seton Hall, Kean and Stockton Universities, and was named Head Coach at nearby Ocean County College in July 2022.
