Chris Guccio

Coach Chris has been coaching fastpitch softball for 6 years and has been with the Ruthless Organization since its inception in New Jersey. He continues to be enamored with the amount of training and playing opportunities that both Crystl Bustos and founder Allan Proske offer to both their coaches and players. Coach Chris believes that these opportunities are what sets Ruthless apart from many other organizations. Coach Chris provides reinforcement of training methodologies by leading practices, serving as a clinician, and most often is found as the resident first base coach for Ruthless’ 14U Popowski team that is guided by The University of South Carolina Athletics and NJ USA Hall of Famer Trish Popowski.

Boasting a coaching resume that includes two state championships, many tournament championships and top 5 “A” level national tournament finishes have proven the intangibles that team chemistry brings is the cornerstone to providing players with a high level of success within a positive nurturing environment. The hard work and dedication that the Ruthless Organization teaches and requires are things that can help us all earn respect while influencing a player’s direction and in life.

Coach Chris maintains his USA Softball Volunteer status including training and background checks. Having never played an inning of women’s fastpitch softball, Chris knows that he needs to work twice as hard to learn and understand the game from those who have played it both collegiately and professionally all while he does his best to ensure that the girls never forget that the first three letters in fundamentals are “fun”.
